Music Team
We are looking for instructors to teach in our after-school music program entitled “Let’s Make Beats”
this is a unique, fun, after-school program offered in our Dallas ISD and Fort Worth ISD schools.
This part-time opportunity is from 3:00pm -6:00pm, Monday-Thursday. These classes will teach middle
and high students how to create beats, music, and songs.
All qualified candidates MUST exemplify the following:
- Enjoy working with the youth, be a self-starter, dependable, motivated, team player, and able to work under deadlines.
- Degree preferred, but not necessary
- Have previous knowledge of computer recording software’s or beat machines, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
- Must have a reliable transportation

Tutoring Position
All teachers will undergo 9-14 hours of training prior to delivery of the Confidence Outreach program. Our training program provides a comprehensive review of the entire course curriculum and all of our proprietary methods and technology, as well as an in-depth exploration of maximizing student motivation and participation. Furthermore, all instructors are trained to analyze student’s strengths and weaknesses as indicated by their individual performance and personal prescription. Confidence Outreach training is conducted by our education department and includes:
- A teacher training manual
- An introduction and orientation to the Confidence Outreach assessment and materials
- A knowledge check of skills, teaching techniques and programs
- Follow-up workshops to support ongoing teacher training and program implementation.
- Beginning in pre-service training, new staff are supported in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Training content includes encouraging sensitivity and responsiveness, as well as acceptance and appreciation for the individuality of our students and their families. Training regarding specific cultural content is incorporated as appropriate.
