DISD - A major sponsor of the “Superintendents Golf Tournament for Student Scholarships”
A partner in the “Girl Power” project at L.G. Pinkston High School where we provided the t-shirts and adult participants.
Community Service Program ... “Anytime Math Tutoring” is when we offer free math tutoring at anytime for any school for any low performing student. We offer 80 hours of free academic assistance and the school tells us who gets tutoring, where, and for how long.
Provided Mr. Pikes (a DISD teacher) with a scholarship to participate in a mission trip to a country in Africa.
Sponsored a School wide Talent Program at the end of the year at Samuel High School.
”School is Cool” - Welcome Back School Rally at Friendship West Baptist Church. Free Food, Free Concert, Prizes, and Special Guest (Felix Jones with the Dallas Cowboys)
Created a Drum-line Program for students to participate in and learn how to play the drums from the DISD community.
Sponsored the Pro-Tools Project at Moisés E. Molina High School to teach the student how to make and record their own original beats and sounds using the latest technology.
