The Confidence Group 3-1 Program offers core techniques that can help to accelerate learning and heighten student performance. Techniques that can help you take charge of change.

Our curriculum is meaning-oriented In that skills are developed in a larger context so learning is much engaging than skills taught in isolation. The vocabulary words learned as part of a song have far greater meaning than words taught from a vocabulary list. Similarly, mathematical principles taught as part of the architecture of music have a far richer meaning and are more authentic to the learner than mathematics taught for the sake of mathematics alone.

Our program is rich and challenging. The lesson objectives are local and state standards that set forth what students should know and be able to do. Our classes are designed to provide instruction that is more intensive, systematic and explicit than regular classroom instruction. Students enrolled in the Confidence program engage in higher, lower and basic thinking skills simultaneously, such as when chorale music is used as a context for developing fluency and vocabulary in reading and singing and when basic rhythmic patterns are used to teach students about fractions or other mathematical principles and processes.
